Once again, the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at UIN Sunan Kalijaga has achieved success. Congratulations to the Sales Al Ghozali team, comprising Muhammad Alberto, Dewinar Masyita Caesarin, and Dimas Yuda Firmansyah, all students of the Islamic Economics study program at @febi_uinsuka.

Alberto, Dewi, and Dimas have secured the 1st place in the National Islamic Economics Olympiad Competition, an event within the eighth Sharia Economic Event held by KSEi RISEF UIN Raden Intan Lampung.

The Olympiad aims to foster competition that encourages students’ insights, innovation, and creativity in addressing the challenges of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Islamic Economic Development in Indonesia.

Alberto and the team underwent three stages of selection: first, problem-solving; second, a quiz; and third, a case study presentation.

The Sales Al Ghozali team from UIN Sunan Kalijaga successfully navigated through all these selection stages and competed against the 5 teams that reached the final stage: UNIDA, UIN Palembang, USU, UGM, and Brawijaya University.

Thanks to teamwork, consistency in learning, and support from all parties, Alhamdulillah, the FEBI UIN SUKA delegation has excelled and secured 1st place in the Islamic Economics Olympiad SEE VIII 2022.
